THE ROBYN JONES STAR OF THE FUTURE AWARD

This award is dedicated to the late Robyn Jones OBE a founding trustee of The PM Trust and a great advocate of the hospitality industry and especially supporting the next generation of hospitality professionals.  It is awarded to any currently employed alumnus of Springboards Kickstart programme, that demonstrates outstanding potential within the hospitality industry.

DANNY LOTTER STAR OF THE FUTURE 2016

Danny Lotter completed his placement at Delaware North working as an apprentice chef whilst he was studying for a catering and hospitality diploma level 1 at Havering College.  Having completed the KickStart programme in 2014 he worked closely with Executive Chef Mark Reynolds at Wembley Stadium. Mark Reynolds acted as Danny’s mentor and helped him to develop his cooking skills in the work place outside of college through his NVQ Level 2 qualification. Then in the summer of 2016 Mark helped Danny to secure a position working full time at the Shangri-La Hotel in the Shard, London.

Danny is a regular alumni member and conducted a presentation to the audience at the 2015 KickStart Graduation as well as working at Springboard’s Big Event fundraiser in February 2016.
